U13 Boys football
On Monday 4/12/06 the Dingwall Academy u13 boys football team qualified for the 4th round of the u13 Scottish cup with a well deserved victory over Torry Academy. The game was played at the Highland Football Academy on very cold, wet and windy day. The boys played some excellent football in the first period and if it was not for the heroics of the away goalkeeper the Dingwall boys could have been on easy street by half time. It was not to be and the interval saw the game level at 1 a piece thanks to a good finish from Arron Ross. Dingwall started the second half in confident mood but had to be cautious not to be caught on the break by the very impressive Torry Academy striker Sean Napier. The game in the second half was a more scrappy affair with both teams playing very narrow. Mid way through the half, against the run of play, Torry took the lead and it was Napier who turned provider with and excellent run and cross which was neatly converted by his strike partner. To the Dingwall players credit they stuck to their tasks and were back on level terms within ten minutes. Macallister picked the ball up in the middle of the park and flighted an excellent ball into the path of the evasive Milne who calmly slotted the ball past the on rushing goalkeeper. With 5 minutes left and Dingwall on the ascendency substitute Damien Mackenzie beat the Torry sweeper and slotted the ball under the helpless keeper to make it 3-2 in Dingwalls favour. This win means Dingwall will have home advantage against Aberdeen Grammar in the 4th round of the National trophy. Muir Morton

Senior Football Team
Senior Football Team's away visit to Inverness Royal Academy on Saturday 4 November. Dingwall set up in a 3-5-2 formation on this cold morning on a slightly soft surface. With Dingwall enjoying most of the possession Garry Macallister, S4 made the breakthrough for Dingwall, scrambling home from a corner. Craig Stuart, S5 made to 2-0 to the away side just before half time slotting home from a Kegan Stewart S4 through ball. Going in to the 2nd half 2-0 up Dingwall started slowly and when the ball went loose in their box Cameron Bell S4 handled on the line to prevent a goal scoring opportunity and was sent off. IRA scored the resulting penalty to make it 2-1. Now with a one man advantage IRA took the game to Dingwall and soon levelled up the scoring when a shot deflected off captain Alan Dorrian S6 to leave Steven Hyslop S5 in goals no chance. With little time left and one man down, Dingwall gave everything to get the winning goal and when substitute Scott Milligan S4 made a great run into the box he was taken down to give Dingwall a penalty in the last minute of the game. With the pressure on Mark Gair S5 he slotted home to win the game 3-2. A well deserved win for a hard working side. Dingwall - Hyslop, Bell, Johnston, Gair, Garden, Stewart. Macallister, Dorrian, Pennington, Stuart, O'Donnell, McPhee, Milligan

Senior Hockey
Last Thursday the Girls Senior Hockey team travelled to Gordonstoun to participate in the North of Scotland Hockey Tournament. Present at the tournament were all the local teams that were played during the season as well as several teams from the Elgin Area. The tournament started well with Dingwall winning their first game 7-0 against Lossiemouth. This excellent start seemed to have inspired the team as they went on to finish 3rd overall in the tournament where we never conceeded a goal. Well Done!
