Success at Torridon Hotel |

Wednesday 18th November saw four senior pupils take part in the Torridon Hotel school challenge, organised in conjunction with the careers department for Wester Ross. The day was to introduce pupils to all aspects of the hotel industry.
The team - Clarissa de Kruijff, Kaylene McKernie, Gemma Mitchell and Stephanie Watson - had worthy opponents from Plockton HS, Ullapool High and Gairloch HS.
After team building exercises the challenge was issued - to create a blog page within 1 hour 15 minutes based on a set topic - our topic was the set menu that evening in the fine dining restaurant.
The page had to be humourous, informative and within 250 words. Dingwall Academy were worthy winners, portraying the menu from the viewpoint of the food!! You can see their winning page on www.thetorridon.co.uk
