The group agreed that the smaller Leeds company diary was much more suitable.   It was suggested that the reference material at the end of the diary was not required.

Ms Gordon outlined the proposed uniform codes for S1-3 and S4-6 which had come from previous pupil meetings.   It was stated that the S5/6 pupil council were opposed to this proposal, in particular the wearing of blazers by S4.

 

The group were asked to consider the proposals

 

It was agreed that

·        the uniform colours should be black, white and grey

·        the preferred shades of grey were mid grey and light grey

·        tracksuit bottoms should be banned

·        trainers should be ‘low profile’ – not white air max trainers

·        pupils should be able to choose their own style of belt

·        there must be consistency by teaching staff in enforcing and reprimanding non wearing of school uniform

 

 

·        polo-shirt

·        fleeced sweater/hoodies/zippies

·        trousers – black or grey

·        skirts – black or grey

 

·        cotton/woollen pullovers or cardigans

·        shirt/tie

·        blazers

 

 

·        shirt/tie

·        Pupils tried on the 3 makes of blazers but were unable to come to a decision on the preferred make.
