S1/2 Pupil Council Minutes – 2/5/11
Present: Ms Gordon, Adam Carter, Caitlin Macleod, Ruth Olivant, Ben Preston, Lauren Fraser, Kierra Brennan, Peter Dingwall, Cameron Harper

1. Uniform
Ms Gordon circulated uniform samples from ‘Schoolwear Made Easy’, Inverness and from ‘Highland Schoolwear’, Inverness.
After an informal fashion show and discussion the following was agreed
· Dress code colours – black white and grey. It was felt that there should only be 2 options of grey. The majority voted for mid grey (light oxford) and light grey (birch)
· It was agreed that there should be 2 styles of uniform, S1-3 and S4-6

- zippies, hoodies
- cardigan
- pullover
- shirt/tie
S4-6
- shirt/tie
- cardigan
- pullover
- blazer
Other Comments
- The group felt that shoe wear should be left as is
- Discourage the wearing of tracksuits bottoms across all year groups
- Do not use ‘fruit of the loom clothing’ as the quality is poor
