Todays panorama photograph of the site shows the progress of the pile driving. The picture shows the pile driving rig surrounded by recently driven concrete piles. On the far left of the photograph you can just make out where the hardcore has been removed and the piles have been cut to length (see photo below).

Friday 28th August 2006

The last pile was driven on the 14th August as scheduled and the pile driving rig left site on the 15th August. The photograph below shows the site as the contractors dig out around the tops of the piles and prepare for the foundations.

The latest panorama photograph shows the site on a sunny afternoon.
The site doesn't seem to be changing much but the contractors are busy with the painstaking task of placing the yellow shuttering and steel reinforcement in place before the concrete is poured to form the foundations (see detailed photographs below). The foundation stage of the new build is scheduled to complete in November.
